From time to time, I get a News Release important enough to pass on. Here’s one I received from our local train club, the Crescent City Model Railroad Club. It announces an open house in conjunction with National Train Day. Here goes:
“Have you ever wanted to see this great layout in person? Have you visited us before and wanted to come see us again? Here is your chance! Come see the latest updates and projects.
We are hosting an Open House for National Train Day on May 14, 2016.
Come ride the Crescent Lines!
Donations are $5 for adults, $1 for children between 6 and 12, children under 5 years old are free!
Hours for the open house are from 12 noon to 6 pm.”
