Federation AAT Tank

This model is from Star Wars Episode 1 (movie 4). It’s the Federation AAT tank. The kit is from AMT and it’s a real dog. It took a lot of work to get it looking half way decent.
I used Tamiya Dark Yellow, Earth and Desert Yellow. The only color used straight from the bottle was dark yellow. The others were kind of mixed with either black or white to get the color I wanted.
The instructions call for a hard line mask, but when do I ever follow instructions?
I wanted to use the hair spray technique and felt the masking tape would pull off too much paint, so I just free handed it. It came out OK, all things considered. It was my first Sci-Fi model.
I’m not sure the camo scheme I decided on would work anywhere but on a desert planet, which would leave out service on Hoth.
