Sahariana

This is a model of Italeri’s 1/35 Sahariana. I painted it primarily with Testors Model Master and Humbrol enamel paint. Mig Pigments were used to weather it.
The rust on the pieces in and around the engine compartment were painted with Rustall. When it dries it “crackles” giving it a really rusty appearance.
I added some photo-etched parts, such as the gun gauge, side skits, and the straps holding the jerry cans. A JR models metal gun barrel was used instead of the plastic 20mm gun supplied with the kit.
