This is a model of the Apollo 27 in 1/32 scale which is made by Pegasus. I lengthened the rocket by adding an aspirin bottle cap – – the ridges add an extra dimension of detail to it
Another modification I made was to rotate the engines. The instructions say that the engines are “hyper-dynamo-tension rocket engines with an acceleration rate that staggers the mind”
I added a cockpit interior using one of the 1/48 scale Verlinden resin sets. I then wrapped the rocket in a body skin normally used for Pine Wood Derby cars. The gun barrels were by CMK and I assembled them with the muzzle brakes reversed.
