Cleaning Parts
by Chuck Theidel
The forms which the model parts are attached to are called trees. Carefully take these trees out and look them over for any broken parts. If some parts are broken off the trees, they should be put in a place where they will not be lost. You might also write down the number of the part for future reference.
Take the trees to a sink. Wash off each tree in warm water; you might add a little dishwashing liquid. This will remove any mold release agent, grease, or dust. You can also use an air gun to blow off dust. Set the trees in a dust-free area to dry; leave them for at least two hours before using. Also blow out the model box to get rid of any dust in there. After the trees are dry, store them in the box until you are ready to use them.
