Photo Recon Spitfire

This kit is the Hasegawa 1/48 Photo Recon Spitfire Mk IXC. It was based in Normandy after D-Day and flew low altitude photo missions at dawn and dusk.
It was painted in PRU Pink to blend in the early morning and twilight skies.
The camera was located just forward of the roundel.
