Westland Lynx
By Alan Gomez
I stepped a bit outside of my comfort zone when I built this 1/144 Westland Lynx that I picked up from a vendor at one of the contests.
Usually I build cars but decided to try my hand at something else. I hand painted the stripes on the rotors, as well as the non-glare panel on the nose. During the course of building it, I broke a piece off the tail rotor, replaced it, then dropped it, broke it again, and finally lost it.
I scratch built a replacement. Jewels for the nav lights completed the build.
