Oasis
Mike Smolek created this Oasis featuring the 1/35th Tamiya LRDG command vehicle and the Master Box AFV figure set for British soldiers and allies in Libya. The palm trees were designed and made from 3D printed fronds attached to sticks of Indian Hawthorn wood that Mike collected from his back yard. Some static grass made the palms fuzzy.
Sand is painted hydrocal plaster over a foam base with a few random bits of green foam. The camel was part of the Master Box set.
