The Bocage
Scott Scalfani built this diorama of the Bocage using the Academy 1/35 Mark IV with Tamiya figures. The zimmerit was a peel and stick sheet by Tamiya.
He used different paint schemes for the uniforms, depicting the 12th SS infantry unit after Normandy/Bocage.
Scalfani said that the “pea dot” pattern was the toughest to do. He sharpened a toothpick and poked lightly. The section leader is wearing Italian camo pants. He also had to cut the top of their heads so the helmets would properly fit.
