This is the U-Models 1/35 US Naval Infantry, Philippines in 1942.There were several things I added to the figure. I swapped out the head for one made by Hornet.

The helmet is the 1918 pattern dish-pan style which was used before the more recognizable WWII one was adopted in mid-1942.

The utility belt was scratch built using Evergreen plastic strips. The pouches and BAR are from Dragon Models, while the Barbed wire and debris on the base is made by Hudson & Allen. The logs are Verlinden and the base is by Andrea.

With the exception of the face, the entire figure was painted using Vallejo paints; the flesh tones were done with Testors Model Masters.
