FwTa154A Moskito

This Hasegawa 1/72 FwTa154A Moskito was Germany’s version of the British Mosquito. Like the British version it was made out of wood. Unlike the British plane, it kept falling apart in the air.
The Moskito had a series of fatal accidents in which they literally fell apart while flying due to a design flaw and glue that was rotting the wood. The Allies kept blowing up the glue factories. It also was under-powered and maybe 3 or 4 of them saw action
I painted it in the mid-war gray scheme using Testors Model Masters RLM74, 75, and 76. The panel lines were done with black and umber washes.
