This diorama depicts Michael Wittman’s tank in Villiers Bocage. A Sherman tank disabled his Tigers drive gear. All the crew escaped.
I found a picture of the town and used that as a backdrop. I mounted it on a plastic base from Woodland Scenics. Rubble is Custom Dioramics bricks
The building façade next to the Tiger is made by Italeri I did that years ago and finally was able to incorporate it into a diorama
This is what the photo looks like when the “monochrome” button is selected in the photo program. It makes it look like a vintage picture.
