Engraving Art

Everything old is new again. So it is with Royal & Langnickel’s Engraving Art.

This category is best described as a board coated with a metallic foil, which in turn is coated in a black “wax”. Images are pre-drawn in blue on the wax coating. With a stylus pen (supplied with the kit), you scratch off the blue lines revealing the metallic color underneath.

Copper, Gold, Silver, or Rainbow images of various subjects are represented. Examples include deer, birds, foxes, horses and fish. These are nice rainy day projects for kids of all ages.

 

I even keep a “shop copy” of one of them handy just to demonstrate it.
